Purpose of character
Process all electrical inspection works in PW&IE department as per NEOM PWIE procedure
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
The QC Electrical Field Inspector provides electrical quality inspection support for the PWIE department in all project phases including design, procurement, construction, and handover phases and ensures that contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers meet standards. procedures, specifications, and are followed.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Inspect and record construction works performed by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on sites including work inspection requests, material inspection requests, material approval requests, etc.
Conduct planned or unplanned walkthroughs of sites.
Review and approve electrical documents, material samples and mock-ups.
Able to review designs including IFC, shop, redlined, and as-built drawings.
Issue, record and track on-site electrical issues such as NCRs and observations.
Ensure performance of work done as per drawings and specifications.
Ability and experience in reviewing and approving electrical assemblies.
Follow safe working practices and report any activity on the Sites.
Maintain records of site resources, daily work standards, inspections, tests, construction drawings, procedure statements and inspection and testing plans.
Follow the project specifications while inspecting the works.
Ability to interpret site changes and variation orders and execute on approved orders.
Enhancing the culture of site engineers and workers.
Perform additional responsibilities as per business requirements.
Ability:
University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in electrical works, i.e. building services and their accessories/attachments, and infrastructure electrical works.
Good experience with final acceptance criteria for quality of work and knowledge of inspection test plans and procedures.
Experience working with consultants to inspect construction activities on site.
Familiar with the use of computer skills.
Experience with ACONEX is preferred, not required.
